During my recent stay at the Village Green in Cottage Grove, I was pleasantly surprised by the enchanting gardens that made each day feel like a mini holiday. With my wife enjoying a quick getaway from our bustling London life, we found ourselves meandering through lush greenery, listening to the joy of live music in the evenings—an unexpected slice of Americana. Our spacious room, equipped with a lovely patio that opened to this haven, was complemented by a delightful breakfast at the Seasons at the Green restaurant, which made for a perfect start to our mornings together. A charming spot for a family-friendly escape, the Village Green has certainly earned a place in my heart with its warm staff and picturesque setting.
